United Patients Alliance (UPA)

Founder of the United Patients Alliance, Clark French, is back in action following a brief hiatus for fatherhood.

Clark French , a dedicated advocate for legal medical cannabis for more than ten years, now holds a private prescription allowing him enhanced access to medicine for managing his MS. With his newfound prescription, French's determination to campaign for wider access to cannabis medicines has intensified. He is currently reinstating the United Patients Alliance with an aim to persuade the NHS to prescribe medicinal cannabis.

The question arises, why should patients endure opiate-based treatments when a less harmful legal alternative is available? The United Patients Alliance is augmenting its outreach efforts, and is allying with Medical Cannabis Scotland to establish the Medical Cannabis Scotland United Patients Alliance. Recognizing the diverse needs across the United Kingdom, this collaboration will facilitate local assistance for Scottish patients, a feat the United Patients Alliance could not previously achieve. Kayleigh, the founder of Medical Cannabis Scotland, notes that "cannabis can potentially unify historically divided communities. We're delighted to collaborate with the United Patients Alliance to promote legal access to medicinal cannabis for patients in Scotland." Clark French, founder of UPA, expressed his excitement, saying, "Partnering with Scottish patients is an extraordinary privilege, as it expands UPA's reach from Brighton all the way to the Shetland Islands."

In a similar vein to Snoop Dogg employing a blunt roller, Clark now owns a medicine grinder . Oli Genn-Bash, Clark’s Personal Assistant, commented, "Brighton and Hove council's funding for Clark to have someone assist in preparing his prescribed medicine is truly revolutionary. Yes, this means I grind up his cannabis. I encourage all legal patients with a care plan to engage their councils and ensure the preparation of prescribed medicines is included in their care plans.”
